Unlike most traditional soccer apps, the objective of Score! Hero is not to reign victorious. Players do not undergo full soccer matches, but rather face specific challenges to showcase their talents. This unorthodox approach on soccer playing does away with lengthy game times and places emphasis on your specific strong suits. Strategic game plays, including blocking, passing, and goal scoring, will all be tested throughout the game.

To gauge how a player operates under pressure, they may be called on to score a goal during the final moments of a game. Placing a player in these stress-heavy, do-or-die scenarios forces them to tap into their skill sets and approach the play methodically. If the player doesn’t successfully complete a task, the play will automatically restart, requiring the player to take on a different strategy.
